Frequently Asked QUestions

  • When can I reach my physician directly?

    • Your physician will be available by direct cell phone access from 8:00 AM until 7:00 PM Monday through Thursday.

  • Can I reach my physician after 7:00 PM, on weekends and holidays?

    • After 7 pm and on weekends/holidays, Dr. Desarden and Dr. Aaron will split call time 50/50. During these hours we request that you call the office phone number directly and it will be routed to whichever of them is on call.

  • What kind of treatment will I receive after hours?

    • If the complaint can wait until the next business day and it requires an in-person evaluation the patient will be offered an appointment. If the condition can be addressed over the phone, treatment will be offered during the call.

  • What if my medical concern needs urgent attention after hours?

    • If a phone evaluation suggests that an urgent in-person evaluation is necessary, Dr. Aaron or Dr. Desarden will recommend urgent care or ER depending on the need. They will be available to advocate on your behalf via phone with the Urgent Care, Hospital or ER.

  • Why do I need insurance?

    • This type of plan is not meant to entirely replace health insurance. You will still need a plan to cover items including, but not limited to, medications, specialists, surgical procedures, emergent care and diagnostic testing that isn't covered by our wellness plan.
